Introduction
In the light of Qatar Vision 2030, which aims to transform Qatar into an advanced state capable of achieving sustainable development and ensuring the continuation of a decent life for its people across generations, this competition is open to encourage students to recycle and dispose of waste.
Objectives
- • Encouraging students to express the theme of the competition creatively, flexibly, authentically and innovatively.
- • Creating a generation that is cognizant and conscious of the importance of waste by developing a methodological thinking about waste management, its importance and its classification.
- • Raising awareness and attracting youth towards volunteer work.
- • Publicizing the campaign content through the competition so that it reaches various community segments.
- • Disposing of waste through recycling and reuse.
- • Preventing any waste from being sent to landfills, incinerators or seas.
- • Saving manufacturing costs by reducing the need for the use of raw materials.
- • Recovering resources and protecting scarce natural resources.
- • Ending the disposal of toxic waste in landfills.
- • Establishing equitable social and environmental systems.
